What's New at K & D Graphics
K & D Graphics continues to invest in state-of-the-art equipment with the following additions in 2003:
- Heidelberg Prinect PrintReady System L102 digital prepress workflow system.
- Heidelberg Topsetter PF102 thermal printing plate imager.
- HP DesignJet 5500 large format printer
- Power Macintosh G5 systems & Dell Dimension PC system
In early 2004, we purchased a brand new Isuzu FTR delivery truck with an 18 feet long, 8.5 feet wide, and 7 feet tall cargo box equipped with the 4,400 lbs. capacity Interlift liftgate to enhance our excellent local delivery capability.
The Anaheim Chamber of Commerce recognized K & D Graphics as its 2004 Small Business of the Year.
In 2005, we added Wire-O binding capability to the bindery department with the addition of a JBI EX-380 High Speed Automated Wire-O Punch System and a JBI BB50H High Speed Semi-Automatic Wire-O Binder System. We also added a Xerox 7750 color laser printer to the pre-press department.
In January 2006 we added 8 additional collating stations to the C.P. Bourg Modulen collator for a total of 24 collating stations and added a second 6-station C.P. Bourg Modulen collator.
K & D Graphics continues to increase its paperboard packaging production sales thanks to our capability to design and produce dies on very short notice. We also continue to excel in providing commercial printing to meet our client's exacting needs.
